Terms of Use

Terms, kept readable

Last updated April 14, 2026. These terms explain how Moniqa can be used, how access works, and the main conditions that apply to the service.

Using Moniqa

Moniqa is a money-recording product designed to help people track expenses, agreements, repayments, reminders, and spending awareness more clearly.

By using Moniqa, you agree to use the service lawfully, keep your account information accurate, and avoid using the product in a way that harms other people or the service itself.

Participant and creator access

Moniqa has a free participant layer and a creator layer. Participant access is for people receiving, viewing, and responding to shared agreements.

Creator access covers features such as recording expenses, creating agreements, using OCR or voice capture, and setting budgets. Creator access may be offered through starter mode or premium access.

Starter mode and premium access

Starter mode is usage-based, not time-based. It allows limited creator access before premium is required.

Premium creator access unlocks unlimited creator features while the subscription or other premium entitlement remains active.

Subscriptions and billing

Where billing is available, premium creator access may be managed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewals, cancellations, and platform-specific refund policies are handled through the relevant platform.

If premium ends, your account may fall back to starter or participant access based on your current entitlement state. Existing records remain visible unless Moniqa states otherwise.

Your content and account responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you record, the people you share agreements with, and keeping your account credentials secure.

Moniqa may suspend or restrict access if the service is used fraudulently, abusively, or in a way that puts the product or other users at risk.

Service availability and changes

Moniqa may update, improve, limit, or discontinue parts of the service over time. Reasonable efforts may be made to communicate material changes when appropriate.

Some features may vary by device, platform, region, or launch stage, especially while Moniqa is still in early access.

Limitation of liability

Moniqa is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent allowed by law, Moniqa is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses resulting from use of the service.

Nothing on Moniqa should be treated as legal, tax, or financial advice. You remain responsible for the decisions you make based on your own records.
